For example, if a thickened non woven SMMS fabric is used, the increase in the weight of the spunbonded layer does not effectively increase its antibacterial performance. The antibacterial performance meets the requirements only when the pore size of the key filtration layer (i.e., the melt-blown layer) can effectively filter the invasion of microorganisms and dust. As the thickness increases, the permeability of the packaging materials will also be affected, and the probability of wet encapsulation will also increase.

In clinical use, there will be damage phenomenon of non woven fabric after sterilization. For this damage, it is mainly because the micro-fine plastic fibers of non woven fabric will shrink to a certain extent after high temperature sterilization, which is manifested in the use of non woven fabric after sterilization is more brittle than before sterilization, so too much force or unreasonable taking and putting method is applied to it in the process of use. Will cause damaging damage to packaging materials, in addition to the use of edge burr and sharp instruments will also cause damage to non woven fabric. In this case, it is recommended that the clinical packaging should be tightly and gently handled, and the double-layer packaging recommended by the specification should be used, which will greatly reduce the probability of damage. If only by improving the thickness of non woven fabric to solve the problem of damage, in addition to ensuring the antibacterial performance, it is necessary to closely observe the probability of wet packaging.
